Hydrogenious LOHC Technologies GmbH
Reportage
The photographic documentation focused on the commissioning of a medium-sized plant based on Hydrogenious’ proprietary LOHC technology. This innovative system, which was installed at Forschungszentrum Jülich in early 2025, is considered the world’s largest LOHC system with a hydrogen storage and release capacity of around 300 kilograms per day.
By using LOHC as an energy storage medium, the plant makes a significant contribution to reducing carbon emissions. My photos show the technical details, the installation process and the initial operating phases in order to visually emphasize the technological progress and the sustainable orientation of the project.
